Provide is Pausing But Not Saying Goodbye
After careful consideration of the current funding landscape and a deep commitment to our values, Provide has made the difficult decision to pause our operations as of September 30, 2025.
This is not a permanent closure or dissolution. Instead, it is a strategic pause to preserve the legacy and impact of our work while creating space to reimagine what’s next.
Since 1992, Provide has worked at the intersection of abortion access and systems of care. We’ve trained thousands of providers, shifted institutional practices, and held space for stigma-breaking, values-based change.
During this pause, our nonprofit status and mission will remain intact, even as our programs wind down. And we will continue to seek funding opportunities to reimagine Provide’s next iteration.
We intend to leave the door open to restart, evolve, or collaborate in the future when the landscape is more supportive.
We are deeply grateful to every partner, funder, staff member, and advocate who helped build this body of work.
Your support has carried us through three decades of fierce, compassionate, and visionary care.
We’ll be sharing more reflections and legacy resources in the coming weeks. For now, we thank you—and we invite you to hold space with us for what has been, and hold tight for where Provide will re-emerge in the future.
