Renée Burwell, LMSW, MPA – Tennessee State Coordinator

Renée advances Provide’s abortion referrals initiative by developing and supporting state and regional teams around program implementation, while proactively contributing to the leadership and growth of the organization’s abortion referrals work.

Renée is a Nashville native with a passion for service. She has worked in various aspects of social services and healthcare, and is a major advocate for equitable access to services for all in need. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy and Education from the University of Michigan. She is AASECT certified as a Sex Therapist.  Additionally, she enjoys teaching Kundalini Yoga and Dancing Mindfulness classes.
