Jovanna Anzaldua, MPA – Strategic Engagement & Grants Manager

Jovanna Anzaldua carries out critical administrative and support tasks for the Deputy Director as well as other External Relations staff members to aid in planning, supporting, and implementing Fund Development and Communications.

Jovanna Anzaldua leads strategic engagement efforts, including network development; assists the External Relations team with donor communications and communications content development; and manages grant proposals and reporting. Jovanna is an Arizona native with a background in communications, program management, public policy and the fields of reproductive health, rights and justice. She currently sits on the board of directors for the Arizona Family Health Partnership and ELLA (Empowering Latinas for Leadership in Arizona) and is Founder of Reproductive Equity Arizona. Driving forces behind her work include her experiences as a young Latina growing up in conservative environments, a patient navigating complex healthcare systems and motherhood.
