Eva Sieupersad advances Provide’s abortion referrals initiative by developing and supporting state and regional teams around program implementation, while proactively contributing to the leadership and growth of the organization’s abortion referrals work.

Eva is originally from Trinidad and grew up in Bronx, New York, but has called Charleston home for over a decade. Eva graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Women’s Studies and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years in the areas of Neurology and Gastroenterology. Eva felt the call to action  in 2007, volunteering for the Obama campaign and later venturing out west to Colorado to work on the Obama/Biden 2012 campaign as the Regional Field Director based in Pueblo.  She went on to manage a city council race and led the Lowcountry for the 2014 gubernatorial campaign in South Carolina. Prior to joining Provide, Eva worked in Development for the Medical University of South Carolina. Eva is a board member for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, she is also a member of the South Carolina Community Health Workers Association and the Tri-County S.H.A.P.E.
